In Mo Yang , violin. He’s from South Korean, only 19 years old and already on his way to stardom. Canadian debut!
He earned First Prize at the 54th Paganini International Violin Competition, marking the first time since 2006 that this honour was awarded. In Mo also won the awards for youngest finalist, best performance of a contemporary original piece, and performance most appreciated by the audience.
