Music & Truffles KIDS – Aeolus String Quartet

THE SHOW: This fun and energetic quartet named after the Greek god Aeolus, who governs the four winds, love to interact with young people, showing them the joys of being part of a string quartet. They will add an American music flavour performing LIFT (by Paul Wiancko) along with Bach and Mendelssohn. The quiz show “Under Pressure” returns.

With performances praised for both “dusky lyricism” (New York Times) and “high-octane” excitement (Strad), New York’s Aeolus Quartet are multi-prize winners. They have performed across North America, Europe, and Asia in venues such as Carnegie Hall (Weill), Severance Hall (Reinberger), The Library of Congress, Renwick Gallery, St. Martin-in-the-Fields, and Shanghai Oriental Arts Center. Aeolus have collaborated with Renee Fleming, Ida Kavafian, Joel Krosnick, Peter Wiley, Michael Tree, and Paul Neubauer.
