Music & Truffles KIDS – Benedetto Lupo, piano

THE SHOW: Benedetto will entertain us by sharing stories about being a concert pianist and a teacher. (One of his Canadian students won the world prestigious Leeds Competition UK, September 2024). He will introduce some 19th and 20th century composers, playing excerpts of their music.
Italy’s Benedetto Lupo gained worldwide recognition in 1989 as a winner in The Cliburn. He is a regular guest in major concert halls including Alice Tully, Wigmore, Berlin Philharmonie, Bruxelles Palais des Beaux Arts, and Salle Pleyel (Paris) and prominent festivals: Tanglewood, Istanbul, Enescu, and Tivoli. He has also performed with Academy of Santa Cecilia Symphony (Rome), RAI National (Turin), and Maggio Musicale (Florence) and at La Scala (Milan), the Teatro Comunale (Bologna), San Carlo (Naples), and La Fenice (Venice).
